What is Sophrology

Sophrology is a mind body technique which brings together eastern wisdom and western science. The result is a powerful collection of practices, from a variety of sources, which can help you to discover inner balance and wellbeing and can improve performance. Sophrology is a structured series of physical and mental exercises which are short, easy to remember and can be done anytime, anywhere.

When practiced regularly, these exercises build a stronger resistance to stressful situations, greater resilience, focused attention, inner strength and a more relaxed state of body and mind. This creates more choices of how to act and react to situations, making it easier to break out of old habitual patterns into more successful ways of operating. By rediscovering self confidence and hidden potential, life becomes more satisfying, fulfilling and happier.

The sophrology method uses a variety of techniques including breathing practices, body awareness, gentle movement, guided visualisation, concentration and relaxation to help…..
